MDPI stored and currently available compounds cummulative database is downloadable. Other samples may be obtained from MDPI, or from the chemists where the samples are stored.

 The following database releases can be downloaded in both db (prepared by ISIS/Base version 2.0 up to the 17th release and version 2.1 from the 18th release on; v2.2.1 from 38th release) and sdf formats. Each issue of the monthly release contains the newly registered compounds which are available from MDPI. If you would like to receive monthly notification of MDPI database new release, or receive diskette (also free of charge), contact MDPI at info@mdpi.org. From the 8th release (October 1996) on, the uploaded database files may be compressed, if necessary.

After downloading to the harddisk, click the downloaded mdpi8db.exe file in the file directory and you will get the original db file (1318 Kbytes) in the same directory. Use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows to open it. Or download the 8th release in sdf format: 682 Kbytes. After downloading to the harddisk, click the downloaded mdpi8sdf.exe file in the file directory and you will get the original sdf file (8.183 Mbytes) in the same directory. Use ISIS/Base for Windows or for Macintosh to import it.

Download the 7th release of the MDPI database: 208 Kbytes. 198 compounds. The mdpi_number MDPI 1222-MDPI 1419. After download, change the file name from mdpi7.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi7.db. Then use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows to open it. Or download the 7th release (September 1996) of the MDPI database in sdf format: 472 Kbytes. After download, change the file name from mdpi7sdf.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi7.sdf.

Download the 6th release of the MDPI database: 160 Kbytes. 79 compounds. The mdpi_number MDPI 1143-MDPI 1221. After download, change the file name from mdpi6.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi6.db. Then use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows to open it.

Download the 5th releaseof the MDPI database: 540 Kbytes. 232 compounds. The mdpi_number MDPI 911-MDPI 1142. After download, change the file name from mdpi5.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi5.db. Then use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows to open it.

Download the 4th release of the MDPI database: 476 Kbytes. 216 compounds. The mdpi_number MDPI 695-MDPI 910. After download, change the file name from mdpi4.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi4.db. Then use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows to open it.

Download the 3rd release of the MDPI database: 248 Kbytes. 142 compounds. The mdpi_number MDPI 553-MDPI 694. After download, change the file name from mdpi3.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi3.db. Then use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows to open it.

Download the 2nd release of the MDPI database: 196 Kbytes. 125 compounds. The mdpi_number MDPI 428-MDPI 552. After download, change the file name from mdpi2.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi2.db. Then use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows to open it.

Download the 1st release (March 1996) of the MDPI database: 644 Kbytes. 427 compounds. The mdpi_number MDPI 1-MDPI 427. After download, change the file name from mdpi1.exe to (or save the file as) mdpi1.db. Then use ISIS/Base 2.0 for Windows for Windows to open it.
