Special Issue “Quantum Dots: From Synthesis to Applications in Biomedicine and Life Sciences”
Call for paper message

Dear Colleague,

We would like to invite you to contribute papers for consideration and publication in the special issue “Quantum Dots: From Synthesis to Applications in Biomedicine and Life Sciences”  to be published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS, ISSN 1422-0067, Impact Factor 1.467 in 2005). Both research papers and reviews are invited. A list of keywords  was prepared to guide authors on the topics covered by this special issue. Please also download the PDF invitation.

IJMS is an Open Access Journal. All papers are refereed through a rigorous and fast peer review process. Accepted papers are immediately published online. Openly accessible articles maximize their research impact. Papers published in IJMS receive high publicity because they are free to read, the full text is searchable on the Internet and they are rapidly covered by leading indexing and abstracting services, including Chemical Abstracts and Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science).

Open Access publishing  is supported by authors and their Institutions, what  ensures unlimited access by readers. Low cost open access publishing service is provided (http://www.mdpi.org/oaj-supports.htm), regardless of the length of the paper, what encourage the publication of papers with complete results and full experimental or computational details. Although IJMS has a policy of low publication fees, high quality papers recommended by referees or editors may be published free of charge as Open Access papers.

The deadline for submissions is  1 July 2008.

You are invited to submit your manuscripts online at http://submit.mdpi.org/index.php or by email to [email protected]. Please include "Manuscript submission for special issue "Quantumdots" in the subject line. A guide for authors, sample copies and other relevant information for submitting papers are available on the “Instructions for Authors” page.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Sincerely,

Dr. Gregor Drummen
