Assign a manuscript code number to every new manuscript. Assess their scientific value, mainly the experimental part, and the paper style whether all parts of a paper are included in a paper according to Instructions for Authors. Then, send the papers to at least two qualified referees. Contact the authors if revision and corrections are necessary. Before accepting a paper, contact the Editor-in-Chief by e-mail (molinfo@mdpi.org) telling your decision by e-mail together with the referees reports. Send the electronic files of the final version of the accepted papers by e-mail to the Assistant Editor (molinfo@mdpi.org) and Dr. Shu-Kun Lin (lin@mdpi.org) at the same time, with the e-mail Subject: "xx-xx-xx, accepted paper for Molecules", where xx-xx-xx is the manuscript code. Note: The Editor-in-Chief will make the final check of the quality of the paper. Preparation of long research articles and long and comprehensive review papers on special topics from your country or region are particularly encouraged for consideration and publication in Molecules.
May contribute Commentaries and Editorials for publication in Molecules. Every special issue will be started with an editorial of the editor.
May publish for free book reviews.
An annual academic conference will be sponsored by MDPI where the editorial meeting will be held. The Editors will be invited to participate and all the cost will be covered by MDPI. MDPI conferences are listed at www.mdpi.org website.
Molecules is a non-profit academic journal. We provide subscribers free access to online edition. Many members of the International Advisory Board are working on a voluntary basis. However, we want to continuously publish Molecules as a high standard international journal by maintaining a rigorous refereeing system. There has been tremendous editorial working load for the editorial team. We need to share the editorial task among a reasonably large number of editors, every one has only a limited amount of working load and an acceptable amount of duty. Publication is one of the important aspect of scientific activities. Therefore, qualified chemists are invited to serve as Editors on a voluntary basis. The acceptance or the approval of an editorship will be carried out by the International Advisory Board of Molecules.Last change: 9 April 2004. Webmaster molinfo@mdpi.orgPlease contact Dr. Shu-Kun Lin by e-mail (lin@mdpi.org). Any suggestions are also sent to him by e-mail.
