Pharmaceuticals
A free and living review and research paper section of Molecules

Call for papers

The Pharmaceuticals reviews and research papers can be presented at a relevant conference of a series of annual E-conferences. Afterwards, the papers will be published in special proceedings issues.

The Pharmaceuticals will present comprehensive reviews of molecules that are drugs or active pharmacetical ingredients (API) in one-molecule/class per paper format, and research papers on molecular medicine. They will be published in two formats: pdf and html, both are openly accessible free of charge.

For review papers, the pdf versions and the corresponding html form of the papers will also be made available at the same time, but will continuously updated at http://www.mdpi.net/pharmaceuticals/ by the authors, who will be invited to add new literature, new comments and new paragraphs when relevant. These articles will thus be "living" reviews. Discussion forums will be set up for readers to comment on the reviews. New edition of the reviews can be published again in pdf if there is substantial revision with updated material. The title of the review can be the name of the pharmaceutical. Analogs of the durg and relevant derivatives of the compound can also be included. Papers should have an abstract and a list of keywords (The first keyword should be chosen from the list of drug classeslist.htm). The main body of text should be arranged into the following sections: an Introduction giving a general survey of the area; a detailed review of the synthesis should also be given following the excellent review style of the journal Synthesis. This review can be very comprehensive, including all kinds of chemical and biological data regarding the discussed drug. There is no limit on the size of the review papers.

The publication of a review will be sponsored by a company or companies or author(s)' institutution. An advertisement indicating this will be added at the paper's html form website.

Similar to MolBank section of Molecules, Pharmaceuticals will be published as a database with structures searchable.

Papers should be submitted to me by e-mail. Suggestions of review topics and titles are also welcome.
