Chinese only: Guoji Wangshang Huaxue Xuebao (国际网上化学学报, ISSN 2078-8800) may be published as a separate journal in Chinese only.

Because almost all authors are from China, an announcement in Chinese was released at http://www.mdpi.org/cji/ in early 2010 where it was announced that Chemical Journal on Internet deceased publication at www.chemistrymag.org since 1 January 2010. However, Mr. Xu who operated Chemical Journal on Internet at www.chemistrymag.org continued to have published a few papers in 2010 as displayed on the website www.chemistrymag.org. MDPI planned to take over this journal at the beginning of 2010 and plan to continue to publish at http://www.mdpi.org/cji/. However, further publication by MDPI is impossible because of the conflicts between Mr. Xu who controls www.chemistrymag.org and MDPI. As a consequence, we announce that Chemical Journal on Internet (ISSN 1523-1623) stopped its publication since 1 January 2010.
