July 15-18, 2002

On behalf of the organizers of The International Symposium on Frontiers in Molecular Science 2002 (ISFMS2002), to be held at the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao in China from 15-18 July 2002, I would like to invite you to attend this Symposium.

We have invited several distinguished chemists, including four Nobel Laureates, to give lectures. This will be an opportunity for chemists, and in particular younger scientists, to gain an insight into the fundamental concepts and perspectives in the most active topics of chemistry, molecular biology and physical chemistry, applied to areas including pharmaceuticals, material sciences, agrochemicals and environmental sciences. A poster session combined with a buffet supper will follow on the evening of Wednesday, 17 July. We also plan to organize world-wide broadcasting on the internet of the keynote lectures and an electronic poster session. There will be a public lecture session on the topic of "Science and Society" which will be attended by a general audience including government officials, business leaders and academics.

Please register online for this conference and to obtain the First and the Second Circulars. We look forward to meeting you in Qingdao, China

Sincerely,
Shu-Kun Lin
Executive Chairman of the Organizing Committee, ISFMS2002
